“On one day, we were at the top of the food chain, on the next one, we we were not…

The Nagas are terrifying killing machines that resemble the mythological creature (half serpent/half human). They have a hideous alien head, a torso that ends in a tail without legs and four arms that end in incredibly hard and sharp chitinous claws.

With unbelievable strength, their vicious strikes slash and puncture through all but the heaviest armor.

Despite the size, they are highly mobile, slithering with alarming speed through the battlefield, these creatures can pass through narrow spaces and easily climb almost any surface with the help of their claws.

Even after many battles against these thing, their carapaces still amaze us. Even though they are made of organic matter, the structure is formed in a way that distributes impacts, making it very hard to pierce. The most surprising about them is that they have a sort of organic reactive armor, with a nasty expanding goo between two layers of hard shell. Even when a shot defeats the first layer, it is not guaranteed to hit something vital…

Nagas are voracious eaters. Their metabolism is extremely fast, which allows them to regenerate smaller wounds in a couple of hours and entire limbs in a matter of days. When out of combat, they can burrow and enter an hibernation state. We still are not sure how many years a Naga can live, but there are reports of twelve years between sightings of a certain specimen.

The only way to take these thing down is with extremely fast projectiles, such as those from rail-guns, or bursts of high explosive ammunition. Large caliber cannons also work. And fire, if hot enough, will disrupt their vital functions. Also, crushing weapons are effective, if the blow is dealt with enough strength to bend the armor and crush the internal structures of the beast, much like using a war hammer against an armored knight.

Like all creatures that came with the white scourge, we still did not find a way to communicate with them. All we know is that they follow the protocol: leave 10% of us alive and destroy heat-producing infrastrucutre.

Good luck and happy hunting!”
